DonnyBrooke Fight Promotions hosted another electric night of talented fighters going head-to-head at the Barre Auditorium on Saturday, March 22nd, 2025, in Barre, VT. Doors opened at 6pm, with a steady trickle of spectators consistently coming through the doors leading up to the fights which began at 7pm.
As soon as you walk in, you could feel the buzz in the air. With the cage lit up in the middle of the arena, a screen projecting the live stream, a live DJ, lights and fog machines to set the atmosphere, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages being served, raffles, and different vendors selling various merchandise, including one of the sponsors of the event, Tall Truck. You knew you were in for a treat and a great night from the start.
Of course it wouldn’t be the same without our announcer for the evening, the legendary Justin T. Manning.

Disclaimer: these results may not reflect the official results of the card, for a more official record see tapology.
Richard Clark VS Nate Lopez
Round 1: Both fighters begin by showcasing a relatively equal level of skill in the cage. Lopez appeared to be hyper focused during the round, and showed some incredible defense with some nice blocks.
Round 2: Clark goes in stronger this round, putting some pressure on Lopez, but he doesn’t back down. The ref had to momentarily pause the round due to a mean eye poke to Lopez. Fighters bump fist and the round proceeds. Shortly after the round resumes, Clark slams Lopez down to the ground, and then the match shortly ending after that.
Winner: Nate Lopez wins via disqualification of Richard Clark.
James Johnson VS Armani Kim
Round 1: Kim begins on the offensive right away while Johnson calmly defends. With 10 seconds left in the round, Johnson pins Kim against the cage and delivers a slew of combos before Kim is saved by the bell.
Round 2: Both fighters go into the round with a lot more throws and kicks being delivered from both sides.
Round 3: Kim goes down a few seconds into the round, but gets back up just as quickly. Johnson continues to move calmly and controlled while Kim appears to be slowing down a little bit. Johnson catches a kick from Kim, and flips him to the ground twice in a row. Kim put up a valiant effort, but Johnson clearly dominated the round.
Winner: Johnson wins via unanimous decision
Spencer Belanger VS Isaac Aguirre
Round 1: Aguirre starts off intense, and makes contacts with a couple of punches to Belanger’s head, and a couple of kicks to his body as well. Aguirre goes in with a combo, and Belanger falls to the ground.
Round 2: Belanger goes in much stronger this round, delivering some good kicks and punches to Aguirre this time around. Aguirre attempts a couple of spinning kicks, but Belanger’s defense is solid. Aguirre is using a lot of energy on punches that are not making any contact, the third round could go either way.
Round 3: Aguirre comes in strong this round, and delivers a blow that takes Belanger down to his knees. The ref calls the fight.
Winner: Aguirre wins via TKO
Wrestling Match and A Show!!
At this point in the evening, we were treated to a highly anticipated and entertaining WWE style wrestling match. The choreography was very well done with some of the moves being insane. This certainly brought the energy up in the crowd as the wrestlers put on one heck of a show and were very interactive and engaging with the spectators in the process. Our protagonist of the evening were The Ants dressed in full costume, pitted against the antagonist of the evening, City Night Special.
Zane Martenis VS Gabriel Baker
Round 1: Martenis initiates contact right off the rip, but Baker is ready and both fighters begin to test the waters. Both fighters faired pretty well in the first round.
Round 2: Both fighters go at each other hard at the beginning of round 2. Baker delivers a kick right to Martenis’ chest and he almost goes down, but he catches himself and stays focused as both continue to keep pressure on each other through to the end of the round.
Round 3: Martenis gets Baker with a hit to the face, and knocks him to the ground. Relatively unfazed, the fight resumes. Both continue to go at each other until the final bell has rung.
Winner: Martenis wins via unanimous decision
Quinn Smith VS Edwin Pena
Due to last minute cancellations, Pena was only given 48 hours to prepare for this match and valiantly took it head on. The crowd had an electric response to Smith when he entered the ring.
Round 1: Within seconds, Smith takes Pena down. Just as quick, Pena gets on top and begins to control the situation. Both fighters are back up on their feet and absolutely explosive. Both fighters end up back on the ground and begin grappling. Smith is on Pena’s back and both are putting up an incredible fight. Both get back up to their feet again exchanging some insane blows. With only a few seconds left in the round, Pena delivers a blow to Smith that caused his head to bounce back and hit the padded pole of the cage behind him and Smith falls down. Pena gets as many head shots in before the ref ultimately ends up calling it.
Winner: Pena wins via TKO
Liam MacNeil VS Hayden Speckhardt: 135 Small Glove Muay Thai
Round 1: Both fighters feel each other out at the beginning of the round, keeping some distance and attempting some throws and kicks. After roughly a minute into the first round, MacNeil delivers one nasty kick to the side of Speckhardt’s head and he goes down hard. Speckhardt regains consciousness, but is dazed. The ref calls the fight.
Winner: MacNeil wins via TKO
Main Event- Chris Perreault VS Ryan Sanders: 170 Pro MMA Title
Round 1: The bell rang, fighters began, and almost immediately Perreault hits Sanders with a mean hook to the head and took him right down.

Perreault takes full advantage of the opportunity and continues to relentlessly pummel Sanders in the head until the ref literally had to throw himself between the two to stop the fight. The fight must have lasted a total of 10 seconds.

Winner: Perreault wins via TKO
