Picture this: It’s Friday evening, the patios along 4th Street Live! are buzzing, neon spills across the brick concourse, and a roar rises from the heart of Louisville’s entertainment district. Step inside the main pavilion and a 24-foot cage sits where concert stages usually rule the night—this is Future of Fighting 7, and on June 6, 2025, the city’s nightlife soundtrack swaps guitars for shin-cracks and takedown slams.

Elite MMA Action
Louisville’s only homegrown Future of Fighting 7 seeks to bring only the best to it’s city’s streets, and as such, is Headlined by a Heavyweight Showdown between Rodricus Dansby and the undefeated Marcus Mayes, who enters the ring on a 9 fight victory streak across MMA and kickboxing. In addition, former FoF champion Kestin Mcclain, who ends his amateur career as the #1 Lightweight in KY, Tn, and Indiana, as well as the #6 Lightweight on the continent, makes his long awaited Pro debut against returning fighter and multiple time karate and kickboxing world champion Ruben Vargas Jr. in a 165 pound catchweight bout.
In addition, Multiple Amateur titles are on the line, as Matthew Munoz faces Jeremy Miramontez in a Heavyweight showdown, while Donavan Smith seeks to secure his first title defense against Chris Arreola at 155 pounds. With a total of 13 scheduled contests as amateur talent from all across the region meet to battle under Louisville’s city lights.
