Hammer challenge Series Launches its first Fight Night Event, in Hazlet New Jersey, to great success.
Hazlet, NJ – Hammer Challenge Series opens up with with its first event of the year. Its first official Fight Night event which featured super fight match ups from across the north east, bringing back big names from 2025, as well as up and coming new faces on the east coast.
Hammer Challenge Series Does a Great job of bringing Regular events to competitors, and offering a fair competitive environment. The Event streamed via Hammer Challenge Series on Youtube, under their Membership for $10 per month.
Stand Out Matches from Hammer Challenge Series Fight Night #1
We got to see a rough return from Blackhole BJJ’s Haskill Harelik, who showed great promise in the team duels Championship last december, but failed to secure the win in the opener against Covello.
The only female match up went by super quick with Figueroa quickly setting up a bicep slicer from bottom position of side control, within the first minute of the match up.
Chris Sykes, brought more energy this time around, displaying a vast improvement over his performances at HCS team Duel Championship. Chris has been prepping for an upcoming MMA event, and it’s translated well into his BJJ game. Sykes was able to move around Dolgopyat’s guard seamlessly, but unable to finish before overtime. Sykes finished via ebi (Eddie Bravo Invitational) overtime, with a rear naked choke.
John Romero of the JRI, showed up to test his competition ahead of the J (J Rome’s Invitational). Rome’s invitational, another growing event out of the NYC/NJ area. John pushed off a relentless suddath, but couldn’t prepare for that sneaky straight ankle.
The main event brought the most impressive submission of the night, which came from Myers Vs Reynolds. Reynolds fought hard surviving judo throws and a strong head-in-arm attempt, with Kyle Myers eventually catching and rolling Reynolds into a Goth lock.
