Wappengers, NY – The Hammer Challenge Series brings back the team favorite, the Team Duel Championship, much to the delight of both competitors and spectators alike. What makes this tournament unique is the way they are structured; teams not only compete for victory but also engage in thrilling showdowns that highlight their strategy and teamwork.

Last year team black hole swept the competition, and we expect another fierce year from them.

Typically, a team duel tournament is a one-day and done event, but the Hammer Challenge Series mixes it up by adding exciting twists and variations to the format. Each tournament serves not only as a challenge but also as a unique opportunity for participants to showcase their skills, and learn from each other.
As teams compete, they earn points that contribute to their overall standings, helping them secure a place at the championship event, which is set for the end of the year. This championship not only promises thrilling matches but also brings together the best competitors.

Teams that win one of the four duels tournaments will have an automatic place at the championship event, ensuring that their hard work and dedication throughout the season pays off. In addition to this prestigious opportunity, the runner-up teams will earn valuable points that contribute towards securing one of the four wild card slots available.
These wild card slots allow for additional teams to compete, offering an exciting chance for those who may not have clinched a victory in the tournaments but still demonstrated skill and resilience. This competitive structure not only elevates the stakes in each tournament but also encourages teams to strive for excellence, knowing that every match could be pivotal in shaping their path to the championship.
Teams also aren’t limited too the athletes they compete initially with, teams may rotate athletes, so if someone gets injured you’re not locked in. You are limited by weight, so you can’t overload your team with super heavy weight menaces.
The first team duel event kicks off on March 21st, in Wappingers NY.
