The Courtyard Marriott has become a preferred place to stay anytime we visit Waterbury, CT for Rolling Stonerz BJJ or any other local events. We’ve found that the amenities and services offered by the Courtyard Marriott align perfectly with our needs and preferences. The comfortable and well-appointed rooms have always provided us with a restful retreat after busy days exploring the Waterbury area.
Located right off the highway, and centrally located, the hotel is close to much of what Waterbury has to offer, including walking distance from the local mall, downtown, train/MTA station, and convenience stores. This makes it a convenient choice for both leisure and business travelers. Whether you’re visiting for shopping, exploring the downtown area, or utilizing the transportation options, the hotel’s strategic location ensures that you are always just a short distance away from your intended destinations. Additionally, the proximity to the train/MTA station provides easy access to nearby attractions, making it an ideal starting point for a day of adventure in the Waterbury area. Lastly, there is free parking available for guests located in the parking garage right next to the hotel!
The hotel staff has consistently exceeded our expectations with their exceptional service, ensuring that we feel right at home from the moment we step through the door. Their warmth and attention to detail have truly enhanced our overall experience, adding a personal touch that sets this establishment apart from the rest. We are continually impressed by their dedication and friendly demeanor, making each visit incredibly memorable.
The details of the accommodations are certainly worth highlighting. The facilities are meticulously maintained, ensuring a clean and pleasant environment for guests. As for the rooms. While they may not be the most expansive rooms we’ve encountered, they offer ample space for two individuals to navigate comfortably. One noteworthy feature is the inviting curved couch, providing an ideal setting for unwinding and relaxation. Furthermore, those fortunate enough to secure one of the corner rooms can bask in a respectable view of the revered holy city.
The bar on the first floor is worth hitting up too. While food isn’t to die over, the drinks are. We highly recommend grabbing a dark cherry old fashioned – one of my personal favorites. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, perfect for catching up with friends after a long day.
Don’t forget to try their other special cocktails as well. Whether you’re a cocktail connoisseur or just enjoy a casual drink, this spot is sure to impress with its unique and flavorful drink selection.
It’s impressive how smooth and efficient the check-in and check-out processes are at this establishment. The staff members are certainly commendable for their promptness and attentiveness to the guests’ needs upon arrival. It’s always a relief to encounter such a high level of customer service, making the entire experience seamless and enjoyable.
