Inside the Hotel on Rivington
Upon walking in guests are greeted at the front desk, we unfortunately did not have the best of initial first impressions. The hotel clerk working the desk didn’t notice us walking in due to playing on his phone, and once we had gotten his attention he allowed our check in to be interrupted multiple times by another guest. The manager, Katrina, did take note of this, taking control of the situation before anything needed to be said.
Once checked we were shown to our room. The elevator was past the bar and dinning area meaning anytime you came in or out you had to go through this area. The restaurant was beautiful, with a full bar and a wonderfully crafted seating area for patrons to enjoy.
Staying in the room, You are immediately greeted with an open floor space, square in shape, with the bed in the center. Along the sides of the walls you have your wine rack, minifridge, and closet space.
Adjacent to the bed is the bathroom, with bath and shower. The bathtub large enough to fit 2 people, and the shower with a natural flat stone floor and view of the city. I did find several of the stones were loose and were able to be knocked free without much effort.
Looking out the massive glass window, you may see a balacony, sliding open the door and stepping outside you will have a stunning 180 degree view of the city, depending what floor your on, you may get more than others.
