Undefeated Atlas Jiu-Jitsu prospect Tayvonne Thomas has signed with Cage Fury Fighting Championships.
Atlas Jiu-Jitsu professional MMA fighter Tayvonne “The Tasmanian Devil” Thomas has secured his first opportunity with Cage Fury Fighting Championships. The undefeated Albany-based prospect will make his promotional debut against Abraham Charles at CFFC 157 on Friday, July 17, at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City. Thomas enters the bantamweight matchup with a 2-0 professional record, while Charles carries a 2-1 record and previous experience competing under the CFFC banner.
Thomas’ arrival in CFFC represents the next step in a career he has been building toward for years. During a previous interview on the JMA Podcast, Thomas discussed beginning his martial arts journey through wrestling and kickboxing before eventually becoming the advanced striking coach at Atlas Jiu-Jitsu. He also explained the sacrifices behind his development, including traveling regularly to New Jersey for additional Muay Thai training and studying past performances to sharpen his aggressive, pressure-heavy fighting style. The interview remains part of JMurrayAthletics’ early coverage of Thomas as he prepared to transition from a successful amateur career into the professional ranks.

Now undefeated as a professional after earning consecutive decision victories, Thomas has the opportunity to introduce himself to a larger regional audience against a proven opponent. CFFC described the Atlas MMA representative as a promotional newcomer who compiled an impressive amateur record before beginning his professional run. A victory in Atlantic City would not only move Thomas to 3-0 but could establish “The Tasmanian Devil” as another Northeast prospect worth following in the competitive CFFC bantamweight division.
