Capital district basketball league Playoffs came to a close Sunday April 12th at 9pm, with an intense battle in overtime.
DCTG started off pushing ahead of the elites early on in the game, showing early signs of a repeat of the 1st finals game. With Justice Brantley down due to an injury, the Elites looked like they were in for a rough night.
But somewhere mid-way through the elites managed to pull off a turn around, bringing up a lead, and playing a long back and forth game into overtime. Where the elites pulled ahead, but only by a single point! DCTG put everything on the table, only to come up a point short.
While this season winds down, the league is preparing to launch it’s women’s league in May. So stay tuned and keep an eye out as more news develops.
