Mike Davis Announces New Four-Fight UFC Contract and Topps Trading Card Deal

Mike Davis announced a new four-fight UFC contract after building a 5-2 promotional record since his 2019 debut.
UFC lightweight Mike Davis has secured his future inside the Octagon while also expanding his presence beyond competition.
Davis announced through his personal Instagram account that he has signed a new four-fight contract with the UFC, along with a separate agreement with Topps that will give him his own official trading card.
According to Davis, both agreements were completed nearly a year before he was able to make the news public.
“I can officially announce that I have signed a new four-fight deal with the UFC,” Davis wrote, before revealing that he had also reached an agreement with Topps.
The announcements have not yet been independently detailed by the UFC or Topps, but the information comes directly from Davis ahead of his return to competition.
Davis Earns Continued UFC Commitment
The new contract represents another significant step for Davis, who has quietly developed into one of the lightweight division’s more dangerous and overlooked competitors.
Davis currently holds a 12-3 professional record, including eight victories by knockout and two by submission. His UFC run includes wins over Thomas Gifford, Mason Jones, Viacheslav Borshchev, Natan Levy and Mitch Ramirez.
His most recent appearance came in July 2025, when Davis stopped Ramirez with a violent second-round jumping-knee finish. That victory allowed Davis to rebound from a decision loss to Farès Ziam and reinforced his reputation as a fighter capable of ending a matchup with little warning.
The UFC’s decision to sign Davis to four additional fights indicates that the promotion continues to see value in his combination of athleticism, finishing ability and experience.
Davis suggested that the financial terms also represent an important progression in his career, describing his previous agreement as the largest contract he had signed up to that point. While he did not reveal specific figures, he framed the new agreement as another reward for years of work and persistence.
Topps Deal Expands Davis’s Brand
The separate Topps agreement gives Davis another opportunity to connect with supporters through the growing UFC trading-card market.
Topps currently produces multiple UFC card collections, including its Knockout, Chrome and Royalty products. Davis has also become increasingly involved in trading-card content, sharing card openings, Topps products and discussions surrounding UFC collectibles through his social-media platforms.
Receiving his own card is more than a promotional opportunity. For many athletes, appearing in an officially licensed set represents another permanent marker of reaching the sport’s highest level.
Davis described the Topps deal as a particularly meaningful development and thanked the company for bringing him into the partnership.
Major Test Against Nurullo Aliev Comes Next
The announcement arrives immediately before one of the most important fights of Davis’s UFC career.
Davis is scheduled to face undefeated lightweight Nurullo Aliev at UFC Fight Night: Ankalaev vs. Guskov on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi. Aliev enters the matchup with an 11-0 professional record.
The matchup presents a clear clash of styles and momentum.
Aliev has built his undefeated record through relentless pressure, wrestling and positional control. Davis offers the more proven finishing threat, with the striking power to change the direction of the fight in a single exchange.
For Davis, defeating an unbeaten opponent would immediately strengthen his position in the UFC lightweight division. It would also place more attention on a fighter who has already compiled a 5-2 promotional record despite injuries and lengthy periods of inactivity interrupting his momentum.
Davis has repeatedly argued that his ability has been overlooked. A victory over Aliev, combined with the security of a new UFC contract and the visibility of a Topps partnership, could finally begin changing that perception.
The business has already been handled.
Now Davis has four more fights, and an official trading card, to show how far “Beast Boy” can take his UFC career.
