Wolf Creek Falls Preserve, Trail Head Entrance Sign, Photo By John Murray
Located in the town of Knox, the preserve is a short drive outside of the town of Altamont, NY, down Bozenkill Road. Wolf Creek Falls preserve opened in 2007 under the Mohawk Hudson Land Conservation as a 135 acre gift from retired SUNY Professor Steve Brown.
The location boasts beautiful streams and waterfalls. There are three trails, two of which connect to the white trail making it easy to find your way back to the entrance. All the trails are of an easy difficulty level, making them prefect for a relaxing morning stroll through the woods.
The entirety of the loop is no longer than 3.0 miles. Your markers will be white (main trail), yellow, and blue. We did all three and were done in less than an hour!
