The trail goes for roughly a mile and is well maintained. The trail is made up of walking planks, wooden bridges, clay, and dirt. With the exception of some inclines and declines, this trail is nothing too extreme. About half way through you will encounter a stream and small waterfall. However this spot smelt slightly off the closer I got to the waterfall, which was more than a bit disappointing.

You may consider this hike if your looking for a quick hiking spot to jog or a morning walk with your dog. Bird watchers will also enjoy this spot as the birds could be heard around us at all points of our hike. I would even go as far as to say the bird is the word around fox preserve with its many feeders hidden off trail.
