Full Contact Promotions heads to Hemlock Fairgrounds on Saturday, August 15, with Hemlock Havoc, a mixed combat-sports card bringing MMA, kickboxing and Muay Thai together for one night in Western New York.
For regional fight fans, this card offers considerably more than a handful of developing prospects. Championship fights sit near the top of the lineup, unbeaten fighters will put perfect records at risk, and competitors from New York and beyond will step into the cage looking to move their careers forward.
Tapology currently lists 17 fights, consisting of seven MMA bouts, nine kickboxing contests and one Muay Thai fight. Full Contact Promotions’ ticket listing advertises approximately 15-20 fights, so fans should continue checking the promotion for late card changes.

Austin Silliman vs. Karam Ali Is the Fight to Watch
If there is one matchup that should convince MMA fans to pay attention to Hemlock Havoc, it is Austin Silliman vs. Karam Ali.
The two unbeaten amateurs meet for the vacant Full Contact Promotions light heavyweight championship. Tapology lists Silliman at 4-0 and Ali at 3-0, making this a rare regional title fight where neither man has experienced defeat in MMA competition.
That perfect record will disappear for someone on August 15.
Silliman has built his unbeaten run through several different types of fights.
He opened his recorded amateur MMA career with a unanimous decision over John Fiset before submitting Bill Quinn by rear-naked choke in the third round. He then stopped Tom Shelby in the second round before producing his most impressive result to date.
At Gladius Fights 48 in January, Silliman stopped Nyles Rife at 1:57 of the first round to capture the promotion’s vacant amateur light heavyweight championship.
Four fights. Four victories. A decision, a submission and two TKOs.
That variety matters.
Silliman has already shown that he can remain composed across multiple rounds, grapple effectively and finish opponents with strikes. He also enters Hemlock Havoc having already experienced the pressure of a championship fight.
Ali brings a different challenge.
His 3-0 MMA résumé includes a first-round TKO over Dom Rammelt and, most importantly, a unanimous decision over the much more experienced Kenny Correa in March 2025. That victory earned Ali the vacant FCP middleweight championship and proved that he could maintain his effectiveness through a full three-round title fight.
Now he moves into a light heavyweight title opportunity against another undefeated fighter.
That makes this one of the most compelling fights on the entire Hemlock Havoc card.
JMA Prediction: Austin Silliman by second-round TKO
Ali has already beaten an experienced opponent and should not be treated as an easy matchup simply because Silliman has produced more finishes.
However, Silliman appears to hold the more diverse offensive résumé.
He has won by decision, submission and knockout, and his recent performances suggest that his finishing ability has improved as his competition has become more meaningful.
Ali should make the opening round competitive, particularly if he can force Silliman to work in the clinch and prevent him from finding clean striking range.
Eventually, however, Silliman’s combination of size, finishing ability and experience competing at light heavyweight could begin to make the difference.
Prediction: Austin Silliman defeats Karam Ali by second-round TKO.
Whatever the result, an undefeated fighter leaves Hemlock with his first loss.
That alone makes this appointment viewing.
Jonathan Lopez vs. Martin McColligan Could Steal the Show
Not every great regional fight needs two unbeaten prospects.
Sometimes experience, unpredictability and evenly matched records create something even better.
Jonathan Lopez and Martin “Marty mcCfly” McColligan enter Hemlock Havoc with matching 4-4 amateur MMA records, according to Tapology. They are scheduled to meet at featherweight with championship stakes attached to the matchup.
Eight amateur fights each means neither competitor should arrive surprised by the environment.
Both have already dealt with wins, losses, adjustments and the pressure of competing repeatedly in front of a live crowd.
That experience can produce a different type of fight from two newcomers trying simply to survive their first minutes inside the cage.
Full Contact Promotions has described Lopez as bringing a relentless pace and composure into his title opportunity, highlighting the matchup through its official MILLIONS content in the buildup to Hemlock Havoc.
McColligan, meanwhile, brings eight fights of his own and stands 5-foot-10 with a listed 72-inch reach. Tapology currently ranks both men among active amateur fighters in the Northeast regional scene.
JMA Prediction: Jonathan Lopez by decision
This feels like the kind of matchup where neither fighter separates himself easily.
When two athletes enter at 4-4, the records tell you something important: both have demonstrated the ability to win, but both have also encountered opponents who exposed areas they needed to improve.
Lopez’s pace becomes the deciding factor in the prediction.
If he consistently pushes McColligan backward, mixes his attacks and stays active enough to win the busier exchanges, he could bank rounds without needing to chase a dangerous finish.
Prediction: Jonathan Lopez by unanimous decision.
Do not be surprised if this becomes one of the most competitive fights at Hemlock Havoc.
Solamon Britton vs. Omar Ortiz Brings Kickboxing Gold Into the Cage
MMA will not have a monopoly on championship action.
Tapology lists Solamon Britton vs. Omar Ortiz as an amateur featherweight kickboxing championship fight at 145 pounds, with Ortiz entering as the champion.
That matchup should provide a useful change of rhythm for anyone attending primarily for the MMA card.
There will be no need to worry about takedown defense or prolonged grappling exchanges. Distance management, combination punching, kicks, counters and pressure take center stage.
And with championship status attached, neither fighter has much incentive to coast.
Full Contact Promotions has also featured Britton during fight-week promotional content, including an interview released August 6 through its MILLIONS channel.
JMA Prediction: Omar Ortiz by decision
Publicly available records for the pair remain limited compared with the MMA fighters higher on the card, so this prediction carries considerably less confidence than the Silliman-Ali pick.
Ortiz gets the narrow edge because he enters with the championship designation and previous FCP experience.
Expect a competitive kickboxing fight where clean combinations and ring control matter more than a single explosive moment.
Prediction: Omar Ortiz by decision.
Alyssa Pardi vs. Aubrey Borgesi Offers Another Championship Storyline
The lone Muay Thai fight currently listed by Tapology carries championship implications of its own.
Alyssa Pardi and Aubrey Borgesi are scheduled to fight for the vacant FCP amateur strawweight Muay Thai championship at 115 pounds.
Pardi has also appeared prominently in Full Contact Promotions’ event buildup, with the organization releasing promotional material around her ahead of Hemlock Havoc.
Because reliable public fight-history information for both competitors remains limited, pretending there is enough evidence for a high-confidence prediction would create more certainty than the available records support.
That uncertainty is exactly what makes this fight interesting.
Neither fighter enters with an extensive publicly documented résumé that allows fans to confidently predict how the matchup unfolds.
Someone will leave Hemlock with championship gold.
JMA Prediction: Alyssa Pardi by decision
Pardi gets a cautious edge based on the promotion’s buildup and available competition information, but this should be considered one of the least certain predictions on the card.
Prediction: Alyssa Pardi by decision.
Andreas Quiroz Is Looking for a Finish
Another fighter worth watching is Andreas Quiroz.
Tapology currently lists Quiroz at 1-1 in amateur MMA, but his own comments before previous FCP appearances reveal exactly what kind of performance he wants.
In a Full Contact Promotions interview published through MILLIONS, Quiroz made clear that he wants knockouts rather than fights decided on the scorecards.
That mentality does not guarantee a finish.
It does, however, give fans another reason to watch when Quiroz enters the cage against Mitch White.
Aggressive fighters can create opportunities for themselves and their opponents. If Quiroz pushes forward determined to find a knockout, White may find openings to counter or force grappling exchanges.
Either scenario should create action.
Hemlock Havoc Offers More Than One Main Attraction
The strength of Hemlock Havoc comes from its variety.
Tapology’s current lineup shows seven MMA fights, nine kickboxing bouts and one Muay Thai contest. Combat Registry also lists the event under the New York State Athletic Commission and confirms numerous scheduled matchups.
Among the currently listed bouts are:
- Alyssa Pardi vs. Aubrey Borgesi — Muay Thai strawweight championship

Why You Should Watch Hemlock Havoc
Regional combat sports provide something major promotions cannot always replicate.
You are watching fighters before everyone knows their names.
Austin Silliman enters Hemlock Havoc undefeated at 4-0 with a championship already on his résumé. Karam Ali brings his own undefeated 3-0 record and FCP championship experience.
One of them could eventually become a fighter fans follow well beyond the regional circuit.
Jonathan Lopez and Martin McColligan bring a combined 16 amateur MMA appearances into a matchup where both need to prove they can rise above .500 and leave with gold.
Then there are the kickboxing and Muay Thai title fights, developing fighters and unknown prospects who could produce the night’s biggest highlight without warning.
That is the appeal of a card like Hemlock Havoc.
You might arrive because of one title fight.
You could leave talking about someone you had never heard of before the opening bell.
