ONE Friday Fights 165 Results: Petninmungkorn Wins, Musaev Scores Crushing Body-Shot KO

Petninmungkorn NamkangIceland moved to 7-0 in ONE Friday Fights, but Ilyas Musaev produced the night’s most violent finish with a first-round knockout of Suksawat PK Saenchai at Lumpinee Stadium.
ONE Friday Fights 165 did not need a championship belt to create serious stakes.
Every athlete on the nine-fight card entered Bangkok chasing victories, momentum, and a potential US$100,000 contract with ONE Championship. By the final bell, Petninmungkorn NamkangIceland had survived a determined challenge from Pet Suanluangrodyok, Ilyas Musaev had delivered a devastating liver-shot knockout, and six of the nine matchups had ended inside the distance.
There is one important distinction for fans reviewing the results. Tapology lists 14 fights under the ONE Friday Fights 165 event, while ONE Championship divided the show into five The Inner Circle 25 matchups and nine ONE Friday Fights 165 bouts. Petninmungkorn Survives Pet’s Late Charge
Petninmungkorn entered the main event with six consecutive ONE Friday Fights victories and a reputation for applying relentless pressure. Against the 19-year-old Pet, however, he needed more than aggression.
The 28-year-old used feints and quick changes of direction to control the early exchanges. Pet answered with long body kicks, but Petninmungkorn consistently found openings for his left hook and landed the heavier punches near the end of the first round.
Petninmungkorn continued to create opportunities in the second. He caught kicks, countered to the body, changed levels with his combinations, and even attempted a spinning back elbow. Pet remained composed and used his own elbows to interrupt the pressure, keeping the scorecards competitive entering the final round.
Both fighters abandoned distance in the third and turned the main event into an exhausting clinch battle. Pet increased his urgency, but Petninmungkorn’s counterstriking, variety, and cleaner combinations ultimately secured the split decision.
The victory extended Petninmungkorn’s ONE Friday Fights record to 7-0. ONE also lists his overall professional record at 67-21. The promotion did not announce a main-roster contract after the fight, instead describing the victory as another step toward the life-changing deal.
Seven straight victories make the contract question increasingly difficult to ignore.
Petninmungkorn did not dominate every minute, but he proved that he can make adjustments, survive an opponent’s strongest push, and continue producing when a close fight reaches its most demanding stage.
Ilyas Musaev Breaks Suksawat With a Liver Shot
Ilyas Musaev entered the co-main event carrying a two-fight losing streak. He left Lumpinee Stadium with the most memorable finish of ONE Friday Fights 165.
Suksawat opened from his southpaw stance and attacked the body with kicks. Musaev responded by closing the distance, landing a knee, and digging punches into the midsection. He then caught Suksawat with an elbow during a clinch exchange, scoring the first knockdown of the contest.
Suksawat recovered and immediately returned to the pocket, but Musaev had already found his timing.
After another close-range exchange, Musaev created just enough space to launch a three-punch combination. The final left hook crashed into Suksawat’s liver and sent the Thai fighter to the canvas. Suksawat could not beat the count, ending the fight at 2:11 of the first round.
The knockout gave Musaev his 12th career victory, snapped his two-fight skid, and maintained his 100-percent finishing rate in ONE Championship victories.
Musaev’s finish also showed why body work can decide a Muay Thai fight so quickly. He did not throw the final punch in isolation. He built toward it with knees, clinch pressure, an elbow knockdown, and repeated attacks downstairs.

Six Finishes Drive ONE Friday Fights 165
Musaev did not stand alone on the knockout list.
Tantawy Ahmed stopped Rawee Looksuan only 39 seconds into the second round. Petanda Kiatyodying knocked out Changthong M U Den late in the opening round, while Superchamp Wutdychonburipraleasing finished Attachai Looksuan at 2:32 of round one.
Songpandin Chor Kaewwiset added a second-round TKO over Vincenzo Esposito. Tsubasa also needed less than one round to knock out Peng Zihao in their strawweight kickboxing contest.
Kom PK Saenchai and Pettri Sitjaedang earned unanimous decisions, while Petninmungkorn closed the show with the card’s only split decision.
That gave the ONE Friday Fights portion of the event six finishes across nine fights.
Suakim Changes the Title Picture at The Inner Circle 25
The earlier Inner Circle 25 card delivered the event’s most significant result for ONE Championship’s title picture.
Suakim PongSuphan PK defeated former ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Champion Nabil Anane by split decision in a world-title eliminator.
Anane used his height and reach to control the outside early, but Suakim attacked the legs and body before breaking through in the second round. A right hook to the body followed by a left hand to the head dropped Anane for an eight-count.
Anane pushed forward aggressively in the third, attacking with hooks, head kicks, and knees. Suakim survived the pressure and completed a late throw before the final bell. His second-round knockdown proved decisive on the scorecards.
The victory extended Suakim’s winning streak to eight, earned him a US$50,000 performance bonus, and positioned him to challenge the winner of Rambolek Chor Ajalaboon versus Yod-IQ Or Pimolsri. ONE lists Suakim’s professional record at 157-60 following the victory.
Dayakaev Wins Again, but Superlek’s Injury Shapes the Result
Abdulla Dayakaev also moved to 2-0 against Superlek, although the official TKO result requires context.
Superlek disrupted Dayakaev with low kicks in the first round and landed his signature step-through elbow. Dayakaev recovered in the second and drove Superlek toward the ropes with punches and low kicks.
During one exchange, Superlek’s trailing leg buckled. He dropped to the canvas, pointed toward his knee, and told the referee that he could not continue. The referee stopped the fight at 39 seconds of round two, awarding Dayakaev the TKO victory.
The result moved Dayakaev to 17-3, but the injury prevented the rematch from delivering a conclusive technical answer to the rivalry.
Elsewhere on The Inner Circle 25 card, Marat Grigorian overwhelmed Mamuka Usubyan with pressure, hooks, and leg kicks to win a unanimous decision and advance in the ONE SAMURAI Featherweight Kickboxing Tournament. Dabdam Por Tor Tor Thongtawee stopped Tahaneak Nayokatasala in the third round, while 16-year-old Chatpet Suablackmuaythai avenged a previous loss to Riku Ito by unanimous decision.
