Located roughly an hour north of New York City by rail, the hotel offers a clean, comfortable stay with a familiar modern design. While it does not attempt to deliver a luxury experience, the property provides several practical amenities that make it suitable for business travelers, athletes and guests planning an extended stay.
Immediately to the left of the entrance is a small business center and convenience nook. Both areas are minimalistic, offering only the basic resources a traveler may need. The limited setup is functional, although guests requiring a more extensive workspace or selection of travel essentials may find it somewhat lacking.

The hotel also features an indoor swimming pool and a fitness room. The gym is equipped with a workout bench, a rack of dumbbells and three different cardio machines. All of the equipment appeared to be in good condition, but the room suffered from a noticeable lack of variety. There were no cable machines, barbells or specialized strength-training stations available.

Despite those limitations, an experienced athlete could still build an effective workout using the equipment provided. The dumbbells and bench allow for several upper-body, lower-body and full-body movements, while the cardio machines offer enough variety for a basic conditioning session.
Although I did not use the swimming pool, the pool room was comfortably heated and appeared to be well maintained. The pool has a maximum depth of approximately four-and-a-half feet, making it better suited for casual swimming, recovery work and family recreation than serious lap training.
The pool area also connects to a secluded outdoor space with a gazebo and seating. This gives guests a quiet place to sunbathe, relax or spend time outside without leaving the property.
Inside the guest room, a microwave and mini refrigerator provide some of the conveniences of home. The refrigerator offered enough room to store several drinks and a reasonable amount of food. With thoughtful planning, it could comfortably hold enough groceries for a stay lasting several days.
Additional counter space beside the microwave creates a small kitchen nook that can be used for preparing simple meals, organizing snacks or storing travel supplies.

Storage space was another strength of the room. Guests are provided with both dresser drawers and a standing closet. The closet also includes a soft interior light, which serves as useful nighttime lighting without requiring the room’s brighter overhead lights.
A pullout couch provides additional sleeping space for another guest, although it also works well as a comfortable place to sit or complete work. Combined with the existing desk, the room offers more usable living space than a standard hotel setup.

Because the couch is positioned near the kitchen nook, that portion of the room almost functions like a small combined living and dining area. The layout makes the room feel more open and practical, particularly for guests staying longer than one or two nights.
Overall, the hotel delivers a clean and functional experience with useful amenities for travelers who value convenience. The fitness room is limited, but still usable, while the pool, outdoor seating area, in-room appliances and generous storage help make the property a comfortable option for both short visits and extended stays.
