Joey Henderson returns to Rival FC to defend his championship against multi-title holder Michael Fairhurst in a major regional MMA matchup.
May 9th, Paducah, Kentucky, Rival FC returns for another exhilarating event. With the biggest names from the Kentucky region, Rival FC always promises a great event!
Headlining, Paducah fight fans can also look forward to the return of Will Caylor, who we saw in an astonishing win against Zac Utterback. Will is currently coming off a loss against Keon Lucas, AND SAID TO BE HUNTING FOR THE WIN.
the event will also feature Michael Fairhurst versus Joey Henderson, for the 135 lb amateur title belt. Joey Henderson returning post win against Nate Hamblin at Rival FC 3. This fight will establish whether Joey rightfully deserves a belt, coming off his win due to injury with Nate Hamblin. The 135 title recently left open after Cole Glover retired following an injury.
Said to be a special appearance from Kestin McClain, since his pro announcement with LFA, he will be doing a special grappling match with Rival FC, coming back as a Paducah favorite. Many reportedly happy to see him returning, as his return was unexpected given his recent contract.
