Inside the Hilton New York Fashion District in Manhattan’s Chelsea neighborhood—compact, modern room with city views.
Staying in New York City, there are always so many options to choose from. Hilton alone has so many options under its umbrella.
But for the weekend of April 19th, we went with the Hilton at 152 West 26th Street, Chelsea, New York, NY. Located a short walk from times square and Penn station.
The Hilton despite what the name might suggest, was another basic hotel, with a restaurant on the main and top floors. Valet if needed, for those daring to drive into the city.
The first floor restaurant opened 7am till early noon serving breakfast and cafe style food.
The Hilton New York Fashion District’s, premier restaurant on the top floor wasn’t open until evening however, by that time we decided to go out and didn’t get a chance to try it out. But the seating looked beautiful with open views of the city scape around.
We left our bags at the hotel since we arrived early, getting everything back safe and secure. Even able to check in early, to a clean and well maintained room.
Three elevators were available to bring you up, with one almost always one the first floor ready to take you up.
We were put on the 10th floor front facing, to the city street. Views were iffy, but not terrible.
Mini fridge and seating were provided, however don’t look for a microwave, there isn’t one.
Fitness facilities were well maintained, and weights have yet to go missing.
All in all the stay was overwhelmingly positive. While the hotel isn’t anything too special, it does offer a nice place with space to relax at the hotel, but also is close enough to the action and fun that going out isn’t too much extra either.
From location and room quality to amenities and overall value, we break down whether this hotel is worth your stay.
