Experience Luxury and Stunning Views: A Hidden Gem in Glenville, New York!
Located off freeman’s bridge road just as you enter Glenville from Schenectady, the site is fairly new, only recently constructed around 2015. The hotel was constructed to service the new casino, but is a great accommodation for those just looking for a night to stay while passing through or visiting family around town.
Inside the room, there is plenty of space and high ceilings leaving the room feeling bigger and more open than it actually was. The suite is divided in to two sections, the bed room and one living space with kitchen and balcony.
The balcony offers a nice view of both the river, and a glimpse looking in to Schenectady via the eastern gateway bridge. The kitchen was fully stocked to get you cooking in-house (minus the food, but walmart supercenter is 2 minutes up the road) so you can enjoy the view all day, and never have to leave! If you deiced cooking’s not for you, you’re in luck. The lighthouse restaurant is located just outside next door on the river. They offer a large variety of different types of fish and pasta.
We did note some clean up issues, like an over looked glass left by the tub in the bathroom and large numbers of spider webs outside in the directions of the river. However, for the most part everything looked well maintained and clean.
